The R train.....

Today while riding the R train in NYC, I spotted two sartorially inclined gentlemen sitting apart from each other. Both had on form fitting suits with their beautiful tie knots being sandwiched between a spread collar. As I made my way down to their shoes, I was impressed - one with his Gucci loafers and the other in a Loake single monk strap. But the socks!

Hopefully on Monday, they will be enlightened.

We did reinvent the wheel.

This morning while reading a catalog from a reputable retailer, I was shocked (and pleased) by how they described their sock offering: "Honestly, it's a pair of socks. We didn't reinvent the wheel."

Fall/Winter '11 Photo Shoot - Day Three - THAT'S A WRAP!

Our inaugural Fall/Winter '11 photo shoot is done! Day three was a blast and a beautiful day that brought out friends of hook + ALBERT;  Rob, Alex, Chris and Dean did an awesome job modeling our line and truly brought the products to life.

The mission for the last day of shooting was to grab pure lifestyle shots and once again, Jacob and Ash of Jacob b. Murphy Photography did an awesome job.

As you will see if the following behind-the-scenes photos, we captured some awesome "wedding" shots to display how our line can be used during that "special day." Special thanks to Anthony Avedisian and the team at Biltmore Tuxedos for supplying us with some great threads.
